Hi,
I want to know if 3845 Router and 4506 Switch with following IOS ver support BGP protocol.
Router: Version 12.4, c3845-advipservicesk9-mz.124-12b.bin
Switch: Version 12.2, cat4000-i5s-mz.122-25.EWA9.bin

the 3845 will. Not sure about the switch though.
what happens when you enter "router bgp 65500" on it?

Both images do support BGP. Please refer to the Cisco Feature Navigator to find out what features are supported by a specific image.
