Check heaps is a process that ones once per minute to check all memory pools and free lists on the device (i.e. it looks for memory corruption). The memory it checks is processor RAM and I/O memory. So it is normal to see that process jump in its CPU usage every time it runs.

Hi,

we have two routers both of them have the similar config (same hardware). but the loading is different. one is 6%, other is 32%. could you put your email address in "top netpros" so that we can send you the config for your reference. We would like to find out why second router with higher cpu loading. Thanks

Best regards

If you cannot post the information here, you should open a TAC service request, and work the problem with TAC.
