Has anyone on the forum successfully configured wpa/wpa2 with psk on the nortel wireless ip phones model 2212. If so, what psk key type did you use, ascii or hex?

No. It only accepts WEP, although I think it does have a VPN capability..
-Take, for example, Nortel's 2212 WLAN handset, for enterprises. The 2212 includes a backlight display and keypad, and spill resistance, and a VPN client. According to Jason Frannea, Product Marketing Manager for IP Clients at Nortel, "this is the first in the industry that we know of that integrates a VPN client into the VoIP over WiFi handset." While the UniStim voice client is meant to work with Nortel PBXs such as their Communications Server 1000 (suitable for Fortune 1000s) or their Business Communications Manager (for local premises and branches), users should be able to log in, using the VPN client, through home broadband or hot spots (assuming you have an account), says Frannea.
The reason for the VPN, Frannea says, is to support customers who want tighter VoIP security over WLANs.-

Yes, we run WPA/TKIP. Seems like we did HEX but I can't remember.
