LMS 3 adding devices

Hi, I am still playing with my eval copy of LMS 3.

When I let CM discover devices it works fine and the device get added to the DCR and RME etc.

But when I try and manually add a device in CS it remains as unknown.

I would have expected LMS to go and discover the device and start to manage it.

What credentials are you adding for the device? Does this happen to a specific device type or all devices you add manually?

Looks like me being a muppet. I put the default credentials in again and it works. I'll go a practice my typing now

Note: if you used the new CiscoWorks Assistant to add default credentials, you will be bitten by CSCsj30122 which will cause the default credentials to be corrupted. The moral of the story is do NOT use CWA to configure default credentials.
