Im working on trying to pass the BSCI exam, and have my own home lab. For some reason none of my routers will run ISIS so that I can practice the labs in my book. Is there a specific model of 2600 that I need to run ISIS, or is there a specific IOS I need?

I have 2 2610's and 1 2620.

I have this problem too.

How do I go about aquiring the ios? it keeps asking me for a username and password and I keep typing the one I use for the forum in the box and its not accepting it.

Do I have to buy some kind of service contract?

Hi, bcochran444

It's an IOS issue. You will need an IOS with enterprise feature set to run ISIS on your routers. Typically, an IOS with enterprise feature set will have a letter "j" in its image name. So, this is my suggestion:

Go to the ebay, search for the cisco router and notice those items that have "show version" on the item description and check their image names. If you find it, then have a happy bidding and good lucks. Once you get it, you can tftp the ios image to your other routers.
