I always prefer an IOS that has been around for a little bit and may have (as in this case) had a couple of revisions to work out the kinks. The reason I didn't point you towards 12.4(3)JA is that I have been reading about some issues with this version lately.


The caveats that you are referring to would not effect most deployments.
