Hello. I am not an IP telephony expert, so maybe it's baloney, but what I have found is that normally, by dialing # or *# there is an error message.
By random dialing, i discovered a sequence that can be dialed, and DTMF tones resemble a tune when dialing.
It's:
**##*11**##*12**##*1
Or
-star- -star- -pound- -pound- -star- 1 1 -star- -star- -pound- -pound- -star- 1 2 -star- -star- -pound- -pound- -star- 1
The sequence **##* is repeating and then the number are 11, 12, 1 after each one.
Any number after that gives an error.. Maybe not, but it's too long for me to try more.
Does anybody know what does it mean?
I tried it on 7912,7940 and 7960, all registered to CCM 4.2
