Hi Ricky,
You call is slave when you are on active sup but when you are local to that sup you call it bootflash. So as you confirm your standby sup is in rommon , please console into the standby sup and issue a command "dir bootflash:"?

Ankur

Hi Ricky,
I believe your tandby sup is on rommon mode. Can you console into your second sup and check the status if you get anything on console? If it is in rommom then you can probably boot it manually from the image it must be having in slave bootflash and once it boots up we can copy the image which you have on active sup to standby sup.

Hello Ankur,
You are correct, the standby sup in on rommon mode. Will i proceed with the command copy bootflash: slavebootflash: ?
Thank you.

Hi Ricky,
Nops if it is in rommon this command wont work on active sup. So you have to manually boot your standby sup which is in rommon mode first.
Can you issue a command "dir flash" from rommon mode and confirm if you have any image available on your bootflash?
Regards,
Ankur

This switch is up and running. There's an IOS image under bootflash:

Hi Ricky,
So you do see some image in your sup bootflash which is in rommon correct? Can you confirm the exact image name? Also if this switch in production?
Regards,
Ankur

Actually, sup slavebootflash is the one in rommon not bootflash. The image name is "bootflash:cat4000-i9k91s-mz.122-20.EWA.bin"

You have your answer on the output. Slot2 is down. You may have a hardware problem or the Supervisor in Slot2 is in rommon mode as stated by Ankur.
Follow his suggestions on how to approach this problem but also be sure to read this document:
