We are having an issue with our 7940 phones. the issue is that If you place your handset on full or nearly full volume you can hear a constent crackle on the line. I have tried loads of phones I even sent ten back thinking there was an issue. Is this what everyone else gets?
The phone is not picking up our SIP firmware, and I suspect it's because the phone believes that it's installed "skinny" protocol firmware. Upgraded IP phone firmware.
