Hi all, I know we have access list numbers, my question is what are these used for, as we can have mutliple entries for each access list group number ,ie
The ACL number (which is "1" in your case) is used to attach the ACL either to an interface or route-filtering or whatever (look to it as an ID for the ACL), the multiple entries are processed in sequence Top to bottom, with an implicit deny at the end.
