Hi all,

I got a problem when trying to configure IP address in a POS interface that will receive a new link STM1. This interface is new, that is, it never worked before.

After installing it, the router recognize it normally (see below)

interface POS6/0

no ip address

no cdp enable

...but when I configure the ip address, the router stucks in such a way I have to restart it, removing then, the card.

Has anyone seen such a behavior?

The command "show ver" follows below. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks a lot!
