EoMPLS on port-channel

Hi,

As far as I know there are no support of EoMPLS for the port-channel interface on any of Cisco routers or switches. I was wondering what is the reason that Cisco implemented EoMPLS on SVI but not on the port-channel? Are there any issues with MAC learning or routing decisions through the port-channel?

Hi Piotr,

Afaik the 6500 supports EoMPLS for port-channels. Check f.e. "EoMPLS Guidelines and Restrictions" for PFC3BXL and PFC3B

There is no restriction regarding port-channel. Imho it will work assuming proper hardware and software to support EoMPLS.
