Hi all,
What is different between HDLC loopback test ( pins assignment 1,2,4,5) and ELL loopback test ( pins assignmet 1,2,3,6)?
How many type of loopback test ?
Is depend on interface type?

See loopback test we can do too many ways... depend upon our analytical skill.
Basic purpose to do Loopback is complete the curcuit and see response. That you can use for troubleshooting on hop to hop and analyse the problem point of area.
Most od types are :
loopback (controller el)
loopback local (controller)
loopback local (interface)
loopback remote (controller)

You can also test Interfaces by using commands
sh test {MOD}
show diagnostics mod (MOD)
