E1 channels in locked state

Folks,

I have 2 routers connnected nack to back using t1 crossover cable, when i configure e1 with r2-digital r2-compelled signalling with the first 3 channels(timeslots 1-3), on both ends the channels come up in blocked state???

No timing or frame or line coding issue as i can configure the port as pri and it works great!

Please help.I will grade the post.

Hi,

Which IOS is this? R2 had many bugs and fixes.

Suggest you keep the interface as PRI for the best results and ease of monitoring.
