Police with brust

Hi,

I have configured my policy map as below to allow 7M B/W on 100M link.We have to pinpoint B/W to 7M not a single byte more,if I configure the map below with brust , is this mean we can go over 7M or do we have to configure 6M with brust which will not go over 7M.

Your numbers read 700Mbits with a burst of 20MByte, perhaps you added two extra '0' while posting ?

To answer your question, the conform-burst does not send traffic in excess. If you want to send traffic in excess, you have another option within that command with the peak burst.
