Interoperability between MAR3200/WMIC C3205 and APC OmniAccess 4302 V2.5.3

Hi,

I perform interoperability test with a partner between a MAR3200 fitted with a WMIC C3205 and a APC OmniAccess 4302 running a V2.5.3 release. The association is not done.

The WMIC generates an association request including the tags 0, 1, 133, 149 and 221. The APC association response includes only tags 0 and 1. I noticed that the association response provided by a Cisco WLC 2006 includes tags 0, 1, 133, 149 and 221 (See attached files displaying Airopeak traces).

Does the WMIC need the 3 tags to associate? Could any of these tags be optional or at least a few fields in a tag?

Hi,

The message displayed by the WMIC is the following:

%DOT11-4-CANT_ASSOC: Interface Dot11Radio0, cannot associate: no wpa-v1 v2 chk needed

I need urgently some information because tests are stopped until the association is not possible.
