Unanswered Question

Hi All,

What is the ARP aging time for router and MAC address aging time for switch?

Do we need to match this setting together?

Thanks,

Max

I have this problem too.

no, they don't need to match.

A router's ARP timeout is 4 hours by default. A switch's MAC aging-time is 5 minutes (300 seconds) by default.
