Unity Connection 1.2 SMTP notification broken

Hello,

I've successfully setup the Smarthost SMTP relay under the IIS admin settings and tested sending messages from my Unity Connection server to the Smarthost via telnet and the Windows CLI. Messages sent via the CLI arrive no problems.

However, SMTP notifications still do not work. I have a test user with the "enable" checkbox checked for SMTP notification. When testing, I don't even see an attempt to send a mail message in the SMTP service logs.

What can I do to get Unity Connection to send the SMTP notification?

Thanks!

Check if domain name resolution is working , use IP address or have a entry in lmhost table.

use the domain name of the mail server you wish to configure or add a manual entry for that server in the hosts or lmhosts file, located in the C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc

It appears that my problem is due to a bug that was introduced in 1.2(1) SR1 and is corrected in SR2. Here is the reference to the fix:

Thank you for your help!
