Support of 2Mbps leased line on WIC-2T card on 2811 Router

Hi There,

We are trying to terminate 2 Mbps leased line on WIC-2T port of 2811 router, but the line protocol shows down. Whereas leased lines of slower speed are working fine on same router and same WIC-2T card.

We shfted the line to 2620 router and it worked fine.

We tried to use other 2811 router and WIC-2T cards but the end result was same. Can anybody tell whether 2Mbps line is supported on 2811 router or there is some other issue?

Hi Eesh ,

2811 supports 2 Mbps leased line.Line protocol dwon indicates that it is problem with line , not with wic- 2T.

Check the configuration of serial on both ends.

like bandwidth , encapsulation.

We have tried all the options. line is working fine on 2600 router.

it's a three line config containing Ip add, encap and bandwidth.

We tried changing bandwidth and encap but line does not come up.

i have the same expier.i wonder wic-2t can work fine with C2800 ,but wic-1t has no such thing.
