What is the command to determine if/or what type of connector is attached to a gigE Interface on a 3560 switch?

This is what mine says:
Auto-duplex, Auto-speed, link type is auto, media type is Not Present

What do you mean "What type of connector"?
Are you talking about the RJ-45 ports or the SFP slots?
If you are talking about the SFP slots a "show int" will tell you.
Full-duplex, 1000Mb/s, link type is auto, media type is 1000BaseSX SFP
or
Full-duplex, 1000Mb/s, link type is auto, media type is 10/100/1000BaseTX SFP

It's an SFP connector.
If the connector was not attached would the media type be blank?
