I have configured E1 on 3825 router, the outgoing is ok from all the 40 extensions but when some one tries to call the incoming number that is 8020xxx there is a dial tone on the other side and if we press the extesion number manually 123 the call gets routed to the proper extension, why is it the ccall is not going to the destination in first place

please reply asap

cheers

Without knowing the full details of the setup, I am guessing that the 3825 is not configured to expect the full number to arrive in the Setup message... that is the default behavior.

On the first POTS dial-peer which contains the E1 PRI's voice port, add the command direct-inward-dial and see if that solves the problem.

Thaks for the reply please find the attached configuration and reply
