ospf routing problems

hi,

I have a problem when I'm using simulation software to run ospf configuration test. I only able to receive reply between 3 routers by using ping command (i.e R5 to R3). ps. all is in area 0.

How to configure the routers in order to receive reply from any destination when I using ping command from any source.

ospf setting as below

R1 network 192.168.1.1 0.0.0.0 area 0

network 192.168.1.33 0.0.0.0 area 0

R2 network 192.168.1.2 0.0.0.0 area 0

network 192.168.1.5 0.0.0.0 area 0

R3 network 192.168.1.6 0.0.0.0 area 0

network 192.168.1.9 0.0.0.0 area 0

network 192.168.1.49 0.0.0.0 area 0

and same for R4 and R5

thanks

You use just one network statment on all your routers:

network 192.168.1.0 0.0.0.255 area 0

PS:

Hosts have correct gateways?

Hi,

do one thing... if you have your all router in area 0 then configure following command on all router under OSPF process

network 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 area 0

hi,

I tested both suggestions, but it still same. Because I'm new to this routing protocol, I want to confirm with yours that whether all routes will show equal numbers of path when using "show ip route" ? I also get same result as above when using lesses routers. But these problems wouldn't happen when using eigrp routing protocol. So what are the possible errors in my configuration? Which is the best way to design such network ?

Do all the router interfaces have the same OSPF cost metric?
