Dude with configuration of GRE

Hello!, I'm forming a GRE to handle IPX

into VPN. My interface serial 2 is connected to V.35 cable and the other point is db60 and it is connected to modem.

My server requires other applications from my local network. My gre configuration is:

int tunnel 0

ip add ip_address

tunnel source f0/0

tunnel destination ip_address

ip tcp adjust-mss 1436

keepalive 5 4

My question is I must to connect the fast of my router inside the fast of my server for configure my gre? or I can to connect my S0/2 like tunnel source s0/2?

Hola,

As tunnel source you should use an interface which address is reachable and pingable from the other router. If both serial and FE are, both will work.
