I'm having a little issue with a router at one of my sites that connects via dual DSL connections. It is a 2610XM router with 2 ADSL WICs installed.
The DSL circuits terminate onto a DS3 that connects directly to a 7206 at my main site.
Both of the DSLs are provisioned through the LEC as 1.5mb down / 1mb up.
I did a show interface atm0/1 this morning and saw that the bandwidth was down to 129k with the delay reading 10,060msec. I shutdown the interface, brought it back up again, and the bandwidth reset to 864k, which is better than 129k, but nowhere near what it should be. Both of the DSL circuits have experienced this issue. The DSL Operating mode is set to Auto, one of the DSLs comes up as ANSI T1.413, the other as ITU G.992.1 (G.DMT). Do you think this is a firmware issue or do you think that the provider needs to fix something with their provisioning?
