ATA won't work properly with CCM 6.0

Unanswered Question

I have now installed and am running CCM 6.0, things are going fine, I am converting the last location today, but I have a problem

At My remote location we have an ata 186 that has been converted to H323. You can no longer specify any protocol for an ATA other then SCCP now. If you make it an H323 client, it doesn?t work correctly either, it can receive calls from the CCM but not from the gateway nor can it make calls. I need to upgrade it to SCCP apparently, but it will not allow the CCM server to do this, nor will it take an image from my local PC due to the fact that it is looking for a configuration default file that it says does not exist.

Any input will be appreciated.

I have this problem too.

Yes, we need to add atadefault.cfg to the TFTP within CallManager

Here is a link which will show you how to do that

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/gatecont/ps514/products_administration_guide_chapter09186a0080160f6e.html#1051641

You need to run cfgfmt.exe (this is located in the zip file you download from CCO)

C:\Documents and Settings\gogasca\Desktop\ata_03_02_01_sccp_050429_a>cfgfmt

sk_example.txt atadefault.cfg -sccp

Edit sk_example.txt with the SCCP and Network parameters (Ip address, mask,

router, CallManager, try TFTP if CCM does not help.
