Web interface catalyst 2950 not functioning

Hi,

i have a problem with the web interface (web console) of a catalyst 2950.

When i go to the ip-address of my vlan1 i get promted for the user and pass, everything good so far...

I login with only the password and no username, and get to see the menu, evrything good so far...

Now when i click the "Web Console" link i get a empty page "http://ip-address:port/udefined" i get redirected here from the cluster management page "homepage.html". I tried this with ie 6, ie 7, netcape 9 and firefox 2.

What could be wrong?

You probably do not have the HTML files on your switch to access the web interface or you have disabled HTTP access via CLI. Make sure you have HTTP enabled. If you still are unable to get into the device manageer, reinstall the *.tar image IOS to ensure that you do not have any corrupted HTML files. For simple IOS upgrade, I recommend using Cisco Network Assistant which is available at no cost to you at www.cisco.com/go/cna Here's the command you need to use at global config: switch(config)#ip http authentication local

When trying to download the software:

ERROR: Your profile information with us is incomplete.

Please take note, the Street Address, Country and Email ID are required fields. Kindly update your profile at Cisco.com User Profile.

After successfully updating the profile, close the current browser session and try to download the software in a new browser session.

This while my profile is completely and acurately filled in...

Must have been some problems with the server... Tried a minute ago and worked fine. I downloaded the cna and a new ios for the switch, i'll try it now and will let you know if it worked.

I allready tried the web interface of a Catalyst 2950 with only 12 ports and that worked fine.

With the cna and via the webinterface everythingworks fine now.
