Unable to connect to ANI database

Is the ANIServer process running? Are you accessing the server via IP or hostname?

Any errors in the ani.log?

Hi Davistan,

The ANI server database engine is running on the server. I am accessing the server via IP. No error on ani.log.

Whats the status of your ANIdbserver process ? (pdshow )

Whats the process load on your server ? (uptime on solaris, taskmanager performace tab on windows)

Are you running any security on that server (ip chains on Solaris, Firewall on Windows) ?

Are the necessary ports available on the server ?

Yes, Symantac Antivitrus client is installed on the server.
