Hello all,

can someone tell me the difference between alert and events?I think an alert contains several events (correlation d'?v?nements)...

is it possible to forward an alert (but not the events corresponding)from DFM to Netview ?

What are the actions to perform?

Another point,I have cutomize threshold for 1GB interface '(with low rate, to make a test), but I did not receive any alert ???

What can it be?

An Alert is a record representing an ocurrance of an Event or series of correlated Events.

Whats your polling parameters for that group ?

Do you have a notification group configured to process the alert dissemination ?

If you look in Configuration , Other Configurations you can set DFM to send info via SNMP to Netview or foward a syslog message.
