AD plugin - UserSearchBase and 2 Domains

Hi

2 CM cluster running 4.2.3sr1. Can I change the registry on both CM to point to a different UserSearchBase without running AD Plugin again?

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> Software -> Cisco Systems Inc. -> Avvid Customer Directory Configuration

We have 2 domain with abc.com as root and xyz.com as a sub-domain. There are duplicate userid in both but obviously with diff SIDs. However, there is a conflict.

No, you need to re-run de AD plugin so Apart than registry keys, system files gets updated (UMD*.ini and DirectoryConfiguration.ini)

do you need to re-run it even if it's the same domain but the customer wants to restrict the user search base - so instead of the whole company the plugin needs to look at sub-set of it?
