Hi all

If I team a nic on my server and use etherchannel on the switch, will this be ok? do I need to enable or disable spanning tree ?

yes.you can disable the spt if you want.instead i would recommend configuring spanning tree portfast on this interface.

in your case, since you are sure nobody will use this port to plug in a switch both solutions are valid. so you can either enable spanning tree portfast or disable it altogether as per nambi's post.
