Routed access model

I'm looking to implement the routed access model on my network i.e. L3 between core & dist and L3 between dist & access too. Only L2 would be each individual access switch and the ports it connects to user workstations. The access switch would route locally for all users connected to it and have a L3 point-to-point link to the distribution 4500

Now, the problem is I have IPX on my network and buying 3750's for the access. 3750's don't support IPX routing. Is there a way I simply route IP on the access while send IPX traffic to the distribution 4500's to route it on them?

Any other solutions for me?

Thank you

Disclaimer: don't know if this will work . . .

Perhaps you can define a port based VLAN for the IPX devices and trunk it up to the 4500? Other VLANs would be IP and routed on the 3750?
