Ether Channel through a L2 bridge

I have two microwave links pointing both to the same location. There is a pair each side. I want to use these links to aggregate them both and use them as a single logical link. There is no need for the network to be subnetted. I also do not wish to introduce a routing protocol to keep the layout simple. I was thinking of using cisco switches (CatExpress) on both sides and configure etherchannel. The microwave links are just working at L2 so no packet manipulation is done. Will I be able to do this with the etherchannel, knowing that physically they are not going to be directly connected with each other but through the microwave links?
