Can I directly upgrade my AAA 3.3 to 4.1? Do I need any extra patch?

Wasim,

You can upgrade 3.3.3 or 3.3.3.4 directly to 4.1.

Supported Migration Path for ACS.

ACS has tested and supports the migration path from:

?ACS 3.2.3 to ACS 3.3.3 to ACS 4.1.

?ACS 3.3.3 to ACS 4.1.

No other patch needed.

May I know if I've the migration disk can I just use it without need of buying any more licence, e.g. is the migration is free of charge?

Upgrade from acs 3.3 to 4.x is a major upgrade, so you need to purchase it.

Please note that there is a 4.1.4 update that you should apply. It provides some new features and is also a cumulative patch update. You need to upgrade to 4.1.1 first, have a support contract for 4.1 and get the TAC to publish the update for you.
