In the CCIE R&S 3.0 written exam blueprint, Wireless Mobility is not included. Since I am preparing for CCIE R&S written exam, I need to know whether Wireless Mobility has been removed from the new curriculum. Also I would like to know what are the topics removed from the previous version of CCIE R&S written exam.

I have this problem too.

Wireless is truly gone from the new exam. It has been replaced with plenty of questions on MPLS.

Other topics that are gone now include RIPv2, DDR, and device security.

Be sure to print out the latest exam blueprint as you study:

For the most part this is very accurate for what you need to know, although there are some issues. For example, the blueprint makes it seem like you will only be tested on IGMP v 2, when in reality it is mainly Version 3 they focus on!

I have recently done the 350-001 as a reert - take a look at the blueprint - it is probably the most accurate blueprint I have seen for an exam. It may be tough, but I think th latest version is a litle fairer than previous "anything is fair game" exams!
