Regards,

Ankur

dear ankur

i tried boot disk0: and boot slot0:

here is the result:

string is disk0:s222-adventerprisek9_wan-mz.122-18.sxf5.bin

loadprog:bad file magic number: 0x0

boot:cannot load "disk0"

Hi

it seems that u r flash i.e disk0 is corrupted or u r ios is not valid.

Can u format and copy this image in the flash and try to boot.

Thanks

Mahmood

format with win xp you mean?

cause there is no format command on the rommon

Hi

I think Mahmood means format on the 6500. Can you get your 6500 to boot up with another IOS or do you have another 6500 running IOS.

The format command is available when the switch is up and running.

Jon

dear jon

the flash pcmcia is formated by sup2.

if the problem was on format issue the sup couldt detect it or make "dir" command.

i think the format is ok!

please follow up the case with me..

I had this problem before. I had to put the flash in another like switch, format it in there, but the correct IOS on it, and then put it back in the switch that had the problem. The flash that was on the disk was for a different sup engine. ONce the correct one was on there it worked.

Looks like your PCMCIA card is not supported, it is simply too big:
