Unity AD Schema Extend Errors

I am currently getting the following errors when I attempt to extend the schema:

Setup determined the following required service is not running on the Schema Master: RemoteRegistry must be running to complete set up.

I have confirmed that this service is in fact running. Any work arounds?

Do you have some sort of anti-virus auto-protect or firewall service running on your DC perhaps?

The problem was that my schema master was offline. Thanks for your help!
