Changing alias in Unity

Hello,

Is there a way to change a user?s alias in Unity without having to delete and recreate the user? Whenever I have a name change I have to delete/re-create the user which causes them to re-set up their voice mail.

This setting is under the users profile and Exchange Information and it?s not able to be changed.

Also the same issue in CCM. You cannot change the User ID without deleting the user?

Hi Mike,

You are correct in CCM you are sunk :( but with Unity you can try this method nicely outlined by Ginger;

thanks Rob,

I changed a test users alias on the Unity server/Exchange/AD, but it still shows as the old alias, Does this maybe just take some time to sync up you think?

Yes, this will take a while (AD Replication time)
