We have gotten fax detection to work properly using "connect-first" mode, however when we configure the fax detect dial peer, DTMF relay works to a certain point but does not seem to collect and process correctly within the Unity Express system.
If we remove the inbound dial-peer that does fax detect, the Unity Express system picks up the call via a dial-peer that forwards to CUE, the AA plays you press a key and it does a call redirect and everything works great.
As soon as you put the POTS fax detect dial peer back in, it forwards to CUE, the AA plays, you press a key and it tries the call redirect but it just hangs instead of dialing back into the CME or dial-peer system.
I have tried changing the dtmf-relay on the VoIP dial-peer going to the CUE system (outbound dial peer to CUE) but only sip-notify successfully relays the DTMF at all.
Has anyone ever run into such an issue? Snippet of the code is below.
(pots inbound dial peer responsible for fax detection)
dial-peer voice 3 pots
incoming called-number 0751
(voip dial peer that does a outbound translation to the CUE AA number then forwards to a sip destination)
dial-peer voice 751 voip
translation-profile outgoing AA-ringdown
session protocol sipv2
session target ipv4:10.1.10.1
fax rate disable
**Please see attachments for debug outputs with and without the dial-peer voice 3 in place**
Does anyone know if there is something that can be changed in the CUE script or how to get DTMF to relay properly and then calls to redirect out of CUE back into the system? Thanks in advance!
