I have to connect several subnets together with redundant links. In an earlier post someone mentioned a L3 switch. all connections throughout the building are 100mb. Performance is not an issue. My question is about the switch. Are all ports on a L3 switch routable or do I need some other device. aggregator?

On a layer 3 switch ports can be configured as layer 2 switching ports or as layer 3 routed ports. You can choose which and how many are routed ports.
