Hello,
I have a ASA 5505 at remote office, and a ASA 5510 at central office.
Site to Site VPN is configured on both ASA.
All is working, but sometimes VPN tunnel goes down.
ASA 5505 still have Internet connection, but the running configuration has changed (hacker ? or bug ?). The startup configuration is still OK. If i reboot the ASA 5505, VPN tunnel is again up.
Have a look for the running configuration (before reboot).
Three command is added :
aaa authentication listener http inside port www redirect
aaa authentication listener https inside port 1443 redirect
nat (inside) 0 access-list _vpnc_nwp_acl
One command is disable :
no vpnclient enable
Very strange. ASA version 7.2(2)
Thanks for you help

Hi,
I had exact same problem.
I downgraded to 7.2(1) and this problem was gone.
Now I'm using 8.0(2) and it's still working.

I had similar problems with 7.2(2) inthe 5505 from remote client vpn configs.. i was instructed by tac to downgrade to 7.2(1) - as the previous poster did.
