Hi,

I have just setup and installed a PIX 506e firewall. Would like to check I haven't left any services open from inside to outside and vice versa.

Do you know a scanning device in order to check both TCP and UDP services allowed through firewall (My PC is Windows XP)

regards

Mark

Hi Mark

Nmap Security Scanner is one of the best there is and i have used it for the very same thing you are wanting to do.

Go to this page and download from there

Hi Jon, regarding nmap, I just downloaded it the other day, and would also like to use the gui UMIT. Have you used this or had any luck installing it? I downloaded it, but keep getting an error when I try to open it.

Any help or direction would be appreciated.

Here's another one...
