I have a phone that is stuck stating tftp file not found.
The files it is looking for are
TFTP Error from 172.16.11.7 requesting CTLSEP0003E3C44D23.tlv : File does not exist
TFTP Error from 172.16.11.7 requesting SEP0003E3C44D23.cnf.xml : File does not exist
TFTP Error from 172.16.11.7 requesting SIP0003E3C44D23.cnf : File does not exist
TFTP Error from 172.16.11.7 requesting MGC0003E3C44D23.cnf : File does not exist
TFTP Error from 172.16.11.7 requesting XMLDefault.cnf.xml : File does not exist
TFTP Error from 172.16.11.7 requesting SIPDefault.cnf : File does not exist
TFTP Error from 172.16.11.7 requesting MGCDefault.cnf : File does not exist
TFTP Error from 172.16.11.7 requesting CTLSEP0003E3C44D23.tlv : File does not exist
I need to get it back to P00303020214
I have tried to reset back to factory using the 123456789*0# and no luck.
I have changed the OS79XX.TXT file to read P00305000600
Anything I can do to get this phone back online?
Thanks

Can you try downloading a newer firmware.
Looks like an older one (unsigned)
Download the latest one in CC0 and update tftp-server flash and load 7960-7940
then recreate cnf-files.

Are you using CCM ?
Which protocol ? (SCCP, SIP, MGCP)
The phone is already configured in CCM db?

Using CCME
Using SCCP
I have deleted it from the database.
Thanks

Hi,
configure an ephone with correct mac and type, factory reset, and if the sccp files per configured load are available on the router, the phone will upgrade.
hope this helps, please rate post if it does!

Do again "term mon" and "debug tftp events" and will see which files the phone is requesting but not getting.

Beside this being old firmware, you have not configured tftp-server commands properly as mentioned before. This is the cause of the TFTP request not getting a reply from router (Opened ....)

Phone is stuck with universla application loader and tftp file cannot be found. Below are the lines from the router. I have DHCP pointing at the router using option 150. All other phones work and reboot fine.
tftp-server flash:P00403020214.bin
tftp-server flash:P00305000301.sbn
tftp-server flash:P00303020214.bin
tftp-server flash:S00103020002.bin
tftp-server flash:P00503010100.bin

load 7910 P00403020214
load 7960-7940 P00303020214

Hi,
I don't see the .loads file in tftp-configuration. Until you make all the files correctlu available, you will have problems.
I use 8.0(7) wuth the telecaster phones.
