Solved: CCME and 7931 ip phone

I can't access to directory or any feature on 7931 ip phone. Does it need to configure something on CCME before this available. not problem with another ip phone like 7961

You are using the wrong firmware for a 7931, the firmware you posted is for 7941's and 7961's

Under Specifications check out the firmware loads for the 7931 for the particular cme version (4.1) you are using.

The specified load is

SCCP31.8-2-2SR1S.loads

In addition the 7931's require you to create an ephone template and specify the button layout required for the 7931, otherwise you wont have access to the directories, menu, settings etc.

softkeys idle Newcall Gpickup Cfwdall Pickup Redial Dnd Login

button-layout 7931 2

Then apply it to the ephone

no multicast-moh

ephone-template 1

mac-address AAAA.BBBB.CCCC

thanks for your help. It's a bad paste on my note. I use the good firmware but why i don't do is ephone-template. I'm going to try this solution, i give you feedback later

In my case

When I answer a call from outside

Transfer button is inactive

Do you havesoftkey correctly configured in ephone-template ? And which IOS are you using ?
