Help with L2TP config.

Unanswered Question

Hello,

I have configured L2TP authenticating against a RADIUS server. The user authenticates and gets assigned an IP from the defined IP pool. The user can ping the PIX inside interface, however the user cannot communicate with inside devices. Inside devices have private IP 172.18.0.0. The PIX inside interface is 172.25.1.0 net. From the PIX I can ping all inside devices.

Here is my snap shot of my config.

IP address pool:

ip local pool atest 192.168.1.1-192.168.1.254

Access-list to permit VPN traffic

access-list vpn permit ip 172.25.1.0 255.255.255.0 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0

access-list vpn permit ip 172.18.0.0 255.255.0.0 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0

nat (inside) 0 access-list vpn

Am i missing something?

thanks for your help.

I have this problem too.

Please ignore this post. I figured out what the problem was.

Thanks, and apologies for the post.

Hello,

Thanks for your reply. I actually did have the sysopt connection permit command. My issue was an internal routing issue to the IP pool configured . Got that figured out.

Thanks again for your time.
