Re Cert CCNA and CCDA

I currently hold a valid CCNA and CCDA. I am about to attend the Cisco QOS course and will take the 642-642 exam. I understand that it will recert the CCNA and CCDA. Will that make them both valid for another 3 years from the date I pass the 642-642?

Also each time I take another 642 level exam, does that start the 3 year clock over again on the CCNA and CCDA?

I have this problem too.

Hi, david

That's correct. As long as your CCNA/CCDA are not expired, you will be recertified for another 3 years every time you pass the 642-level exam.
