I'll be upgrading a Unity UM Box running 4.0(5) to 4.2(1) on same box. Do I need to update the schema master on the AD? The reconfiguration and upgrade guide of 4.x mentions that but I'm not sure if it does changes to the AD after the 4.0(5) changes.
yes, backup DIRT, update the schema, update the Exchange Tools, the install 4.2 inplace upgrade.
Should be good to go.
