Hi,
I have a Presence Server 6 installed with a CallManager 6 publisher node. For some reasons, I changed the IP address of the CallManager. Everything worked great until I restarted the CUPS.
It can't make an AXL connection with the CCM because it tries to use the old IP address.
How and where can I change the IP address reference of the CCM publisher in CUPS6, without CUPS reinstallation (which is not a real solution)?
Thank you.

Hi
Did you ever find a resolution to this, I have the same issue.
Thanks

Unfortunately not, I reinstalled CUPS. I think this is the only solution.
Good luck.

I am reinstalling CUPS but it seems it failed when it was trying to connect to UCM. I have updated the Application Server parameter in the UCM but still I'm not able to continue with the installation because it failed to connect to the UCM Publisher.
Appreciate some help.

I found a solution to this (I was using CCM 7.0 and CUPS 7.0)
On your CCM Go to System -> Server and rename the CallManager. Then go to the OS Administration under Settings and change the hostname of your CallManager to the same name. This will cause your CCM to reboot. (Make sure your DNS server updates with the new name after the reboot) Then hop over to CUPS and go to CUCM Publisher and change it to the new name and IP and it will actually take the change! Now if you want to keep the original name go back and reverse everything in CCM and reboot and then change it again in CUPS and you're set.
It's really a roundabout way to make the change but it beats reinstalling in my opinion!
