Dear sir,
One of my customer is having cisco 2821 routers(rugged routers).
1)MAIN LOCATION and 4 remote locations.
In main location having 2 2821 routers and each remote location having one 2821 router.
MAIN LOCATION:----
Connectivity:---
In main location having 3 links
a)V-SAT link
b)LiNE modem
c)FHTDMA(radio)
In this routers each port will support 2 channels(one is dialy use and one more is for stand by)
REMOTE LOCATION:----
a)V-SAT link
b)LiNE modem
c)FHTDMA(radio)
now iwant to communicate main site to remote sites and remote sites to main site.
We want link redundancy means one vsat fails all the traffic come to line modem if line modem fails traffic has come to fhtdma.
In this scenario which is better weather link redundancy or router failover.
Iam attaching the main location and remote location diagram.
so plz do the needfull in this configuration.

Hi ,
At main location you are having two 2821 routers.Better go for HSRP so that you can achieve router level redundency and link level redundency. If primary router goes down then traffic will be diverted to secondary router without any disruption in the network.
Use floating static routes on main routers for backup paths.
Cheers :)
