Patch CSCsj51103 (CM not displaying host\display names as in DCR)

We had a few problems with CM, where it doesn't display Host\Display names (even though they are present in DCR.

I tried to delete the problem devices in CM and run Data collection again but that didn't fix it. As mentioned in the patch workaround, re-initializing the ANI database fixed the problem.

However that also means that i loose all the customizations in the Topology maps. Isn't there a better solution than re-initializing ?

Thanks \\ Naman

This was actually fixed asynchronously in CM 4.0.9, but the fix was bad, and it introduced CSCsk08540. Once you upgrade to CM 4.0.9, if you see all the links on the layer 2 map go red, you can call the TAC for the patch to CSCsk08540.
