Hi,

The frame-relay map ip 192.168.1.1 110 broadcast command in the Cisco Press ICND book states that the DLCI and IP addresses are both at the remote end of the link. Other texts that I have refer to a remote IP address being mapped to the local DLCI. I am assuming that the latter is the case, can you please confirm? Thanks

Local DLCI, Remote IP Address.

DLCIs are only locally significant.

Once the circuit hits the first FR switch, the DLCI could be anything in range, and change for every hop ...

Good catch, you were paying attention.

Good Luck
